Celebrating Final Fantasy’s 20th anniversary, AWR Music Productions proudly presents their official symphony concert world-tour, “Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy.” Featuring crystal-clear, high-definition game footage straight from the minds of Square Enix's designers, Grammy Award winner Arnie Roth will lead the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra as part of this special curation by Nobuo Uematsu.

Developed by Square Enix, Final Fantasy is a video game series that has attracted gamers worldwide with its charming characters, unforgettable landscapes, and rich storytelling along with its popular tactical turn-based combat.

Relive the first six games as the medleys will be performed alongside graphics from the original game, creating a truly nostalgic and retro atmosphere. Moreover, the second act brings a shift as The Maida Vale Singers lead the audience through the themes of Final Fantasy VII through XV, showcasing a more pronounced musical evolution with instantly recognizable pieces.

Where video games usually feature intense battle tracks, this concert stands out by paying homage to its more tender and moving pieces like Final Fantasy X’s “To Zanarkand,” which was "a beautiful blend of instruments that came together so harmoniously with every swell in the music," The Asia Pacific Arts shares.

In addition, the review emphasizes how the live choir mesmerized audiences with a vocal-only performance, singing “Hymn of the Fayth.” Similarly, Final Fantasy XIV’s "Heavensward" was a solo number that featured a soloist's vibrant vocals that set the symphony into the zone of grand and uplifting music.
